Service Transition Manager – Manchester Contract | £337.50 per day | 2 days onsite | BPSS Eligibility Required We are working with a leading banking client seeking an experienced Service Transition Manager to join their Manchester team. This role focuses on Service Design & Transition, ensuring IT changes are fit for purpose and seamlessly transitioned into live operations, while safeguarding service quality and customer experience. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and deliver Service Transition activities across a portfolio of IT projects., • Define and implement transition criteria, ensuring services are operable, maintainable, and supportable., • Produce and govern Service Design Packs, process documentation, and transition MI., • Partner with internal teams and third parties to manage Go-Live readiness, Early Operational Support, and Warranty Exit., • Conduct risk and impact analysis, minimising disruption to customers., • Champion ITIL best practices, driving continual improvement across processes., • Develop strong relationships with service owners, business stakeholders, and delivery leads., • Ensure compliance with Consumer Duty, GDPR, OCIR, and regulatory requirements. Skills & Experience: • ITIL Foundation (or equivalent knowledge) – essential., • Demonstrated experience in Service Transition, Service Management, or Service Operations., • Strong planning, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills., • Ability to translate technical detail into business language., • Experience with PRINCE2/project methodologies – desirable., • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills., • Proven experience managing new/changed IT Services into BAU.
