Description African businesses import $700 billion worth of goods and services per year but paying their suppliers abroad remains a massive challenge. Their options today are limited to traditional banks and the black market. Going through banks means poor customer service, high transaction costs and unfavorable exchange rates. Transactions that should take a few days end up taking weeks and cost merchants up to 9% in fees. The situation is equally dire for consumers who pay some of the highest P2P transfer fees in the world and are stuck with mobile money technology that is now decades old. We are building Kappa to fix that. Our cross-border payments platform is designed for ultra low-cost, near-instant money transfer at significantly higher transaction sizes than what’s currently possible. Our mission is to break down the barriers that have held back African businesses for decades. Kappa is looking for a Product Owner to join the team and help scale up our cross-border payments platform in Africa and beyond. Coming in early, you will take full ownership of the product across mobile and web and be end-responsible for delivering value to customers. Experience with fintech products (payments, lending, banking) is a hard requirement. Plus points for cross-border payments and for building in emerging markets, • Payments fluency — Settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, RFIs, treasury and liquidity. You treat KYC, AML and licensing as constraints that factor into the design from day one, not as blockers that show up late, • Writing that makes building unambiguous — Problem, customers, success criteria and constraints come before any solution. Two engineers (or coding agents) reading your spec independently would build the same thing, • Design judgment and the ability to act on it — You can say why one screen works better than another in terms of what the customer is looking to achieve. Position Summary OneView is looking for an experienced Product Manager to own the vision, strategy, and backlog for the store experience: the front-end applications that store personnel use to serve customers, take payment, manage cash, handle stock, and get through a shift. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this Product Manager owns the store experience for the front-end development team building it. The retail estates we build for encompass thousands of stores, so decisions made in this role change what tens of thousands of store colleagues around the world do every shift. The store experience is where our platform meets the person serving the customer, so the role starts with the user. You will plan and run research with store associates and managers, form a clear point of view about what the store actually needs, translate that into design direction a UX designer can act on, and then write the specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that turn it into shipped software. You will be supported by a UX designer, and you will be the person who knows what the design has to achieve and why. This is a role for someone both experienced and confident enough to set direction and argue for it in front of head office business and technology leaders, and still willing to get their hands dirty in the backlog. You’ll be joining a high-performing product and engineering team improving product discovery, reducing friction and boosting conversion across the full user journey- from collection and PDP pages to our quiz and subscription portal, while ensuring the Healf experience feels personal, actionable and deeply human. This role is ideal for someone with strong UX and UI design skills, an eye for clean, scalable UI, a sense for what drives conversion and a genuine passion for building a better experience for our users. You don’t need to have worked in wellness or FMCG but a solid foundation in eCommerce, CRO and design systems is key. We’re looking for a designer that embraces AI in their processes from research through to prototyping. We’re interested in the outcomes you’ve actually affected, not the arbitrary use of AI to tick a box or impress a stakeholder. • Lead UX/UI work across core surfaces of the Healf website, • AI tooling for the e-com product design team, working closely with developers to build systems and workflows that take design from concept to production ready code., • Design systems and unification of components across platforms, • Design personalised experiences that help users find what they need (and didn’t know they needed) faster., • Develop creative solutions to reduce friction and drive conversion, • Collaborate with product, content, and engineering to ensure fast, high-quality execution, • Play a key role in evolving our cross-platform design system to support consistent growth, • Conduct user research and experimentation to validate and refine design decisions, • Set a high bar for craft, detail, and performance in everything we ship, • Bring experience of designing products in eCommerce, DTC, consumer tech, or health & wellbeing, • Know how to turn messy, ambiguous problems into elegant, usable experiences, • Have a sharp eye for layout, hierarchy, and UX clarity- and understand what converts, • Are confident owning UX/UI end to end, from whiteboard to final polish, • Are familiar with CRO practices and improving performance across conversion funnels, • Have experience working with (or contributing to) design systems in Figma, • Collaborate well with engineers and can speak dev-friendly language when needed, • Are proactive, independent and excited to take ownership of large surfaces, • Are energised by building new things that help people live healthier, better lives We ask a great deal of the people who work here. As a Solutions Specialist your primary objective is to support the delivery of optimal solutions for our charity clients. You’ll achieve this by working closely with our wider professional services and customer success teams to build dynamic project implementations and provide timely and accurate support to client queries. • Identify solutions to client requests and issues, • Conduct initial investigation of any issues flagged and work with the wider team where required to fully understand the issue or task in order to provide the optimal solution, • Effectively communicate with clients via multiple channels such as email, phone and support ticketing software to quickly get a comprehensive understanding of their question/issue and provide timely updates on progress to a solution, • Provide timely and accurate customer feedback, • Talk customers through required steps to resolve a problem to help facilitate knowledge transfer and training to customers, • Timely follow up with clients to ensure solution is adequate and problem is resolved, • Upskill in new product functionality to efficiently support clients with implementation, • Assist with ongoing platform training for existing customers, • Manage multiple cases and requests at one time, • Support the production of content to assist clients on how to get the most out of the platform, • Implement web page content: build pages using the platform’s inbuilt page builder module, • Set up event registration flows using the platform’s inbuilt entry form generator and adding in any custom styling and web forms as needed, • Work with web developers in the team on custom functionality to ensure the UX is implemented well, • Assist with testing and QA for both standard & custom functionality as well as data capture requirements including that the data is being stored in a useable way that meets the business/project requirements for the client, • Actioning any feedback or bugs that have been identified by clients as part of the testing phase., • User experience testing of a final site before it is sent to the client for review, • Creating and testing webforms and other data capture, • Providing feedback to the PM on possible UX improvements for all forms, • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for each project in relation to the implemented solution, • Debriefs & Retrospectives - contribute to project debriefs and compile learnings for future projects and internal processes, • Process Improvements - Identify improvements and make recommendations for process refinement, • Culture - Assist in creating a great culture for the global solutions team through consistent regular catch ups, • Have a strong understanding of content management systems (CMS’s), • Are technically minded, with some experience/understanding of different areas of digital, • Have a keen design eye for the visual display of content on websites and (while not needing to be a designer) are confident in using page builders to set up great looking web pages, • Have great time management, • Have excellent communication skills and are proactive in updating team members on the status of your workload, • Are confident working on a variety of customer projects & queries at any one time and confident in knowing when to elevate an issue, • Are highly detail-oriented & comfortable writing detailed handover points on any project or specific issue when escalating to a senior team member, • Have excellent English writing skills when communicating both internally and externally, • Have a positive personality, a desire to learn new things and are proactive and excited to play a key role in your team #J-18808-Ljbffr
