Camp Coach - Littlemore, Oxford Hours: 9am – 3:30pm or 8:30 – 5pm daily. Our action-packed timetables are designed to keep children active, inspired and smiling – combining a wide variety of recreational sports and activities that encourage teamwork, build self-confidence and develop new skills. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Holiday Camp Coaches to deliver engaging, multi-activity sessions for children during school holidays. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people, promote physical activity, and create memorable camp experiences in a safe and supportive environment. As an Activity Coach, you will lead a variety of recreational sports, games, and team-building activities, ensuring every child feels included, confident, and motivated to participate. Elite Activities we offer include Nerf Wars, Laser Tag, Parachute Games, Bubble Football, Inflatable Fun, Orienteering, Glow in the dark Dodgeball, Crazy Golf and Soft Archery. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES • Plan and deliver a daily schedule of Sports, Elite Activities and arts and crafts, • Adapt activities to suit difference age groups and abilities, • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, • Foster a positive, encouraging and energetic camp atmosphere, • Support behaviour management in line with camp policies, • Work collaboratively with peers and camp leadership, • At least 1 Years experience working with children in a similar environment / childcare, school or coaching capacity., • Confident leading group activities and sports sessions, • Energetic, reliable and positive attitude, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • A full driving licence and own transport, • Level 2 NGB Sports Coaching or BTEC or A Level Sport or childcare qualifications, • An up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate on the DBS update service (can be applied for) Our Staff are what makes us Elite! A bit about the role... Do you have a passion for great customer service and spending time outdoors? Don’t want to be stuck in an office in a 9-5 role? Perhaps you currently work weekends and or evenings and would like this time for yourself. Come rain or shine, you’ll provide a critical role in ensuring our commercial customers (not residential customers) receive accurate and up to date bills by collecting data from their electric meters. You’ll update meter reads accurately throughout the day on your state-of-the-art handheld device. What does an average day look like? On your first day you’ll meet your Manager who will guide you through an induction and ensure you have all the equipment you need to do a great job. Over your first 3 day’s you’ll work with an experienced mentor who will teach you everything you need to know. Once you feel confident to go out alone, your work will be allocated to you via your hand-held device and you’ll plan your days based on the location the work is in. Once you arrive and you’ve read the meter, which can be wireless or manual, you’ll record the information accurately on your handheld device. You will work independently and will have the motivation to work quickly and efficiently. You will be taking meter readings in businesses across your region (not residential properties).
