Job Opportunity The Role Working as part of the integration team with new customers and their IT teams across a range of commercial and government sectors, your key role will be the successful uptake and integration of their legacy data into Preservica's Active Digital Preservation solution. You will be hands on in the upload and ingest of large volumes of digitized and born digital content, configuring roles and security and integrating and mapping to catalogs and metadata standards Ideally with a background in either technical support or customer success within a records management or SaaS service environment, you will be familier with real-life best practice workflows, ingest routines and data/metadata mapping, using custom scripts and APIs. Equally you will have sound customer centric skills and a positve can-do attitude. Responsibilities: • Lead portions of customer onboarding projects, including data ingest and metadata mapping., • Develop and maintain scripts (Python, PowerShell, or similar) to automate customer workflows., • Work with APIs to support integrations, • Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues., • Contribute to customer satisfaction by providing clear communication and timely support., • Document processes and contribute to knowledge base articles for both customers and internal teams. This role can be operated as a hybrid role with monthly days in our Abingdon office. Essential Skills What We Look For: • 5 years of professional experience in a technical support, customer success, or IT role, • Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language., • Familiarity with APIs, XML, JSON, or other structured data formats., • Understanding of metadata standards or digital archiving concepts (preferred but not required)., • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills., • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset. About the Role The MEP Commissioning Lead will lead and manage the commissioning process across a major engineering project, ensuring all systems are tested, verified, and handed over in accordance with project specifications, statutory requirements, and industry best practice. Acting as the primary authority for commissioning activities, you will drive the commissioning programme, coordinate contractors and stakeholders, and ensure systems achieve required operational and performance outcomes. Senior .Net Developer Oxford - Once a month in the office £60,000-£70,000 I’m currently working for a global business who are well established within the online gaming/gambling industry and looking to add a Senior .Net Developer to their growing team. The company have been going for over 20 years and work with a variety of businesses from small, local gaming companies to some of the world's largest online casinos! Given the size of some of their clients and their respective global customer bases, this company have off-shore teams in Canada, South Africa and China although there would be minimal interaction with these teams. For the most part, you will be working on modern web applications across a variety of platforms focusing on the backend. You don't need to have previous industry experience but being collaborative and confident working on multiple projects is important. The role is at Senior level so there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities at lead level. This role requires office working of once a month. However, this is quite flexible where they can do less frequently or more frequently depending on your preference. Technical Requirements Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within Software Development. Backend Essentials: C#, .Net Core, ASP.NET MVC, MySQL. Front End Desirables: JavaScript, any JS framework. Nice to have's: AWS, APIs, CI/CD, Unit Testing. Experience with Agile methodologies. The company work with some of biggest global companies in their respective field from small local businesses so some of the largest online global casinos, and have sites in Canada, South Africa & China. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and tuning high-traffic, multiple database applications as well as migrating existing SQL Server databases. You will get the opportunity to work on large-scale, performance heavy systems and collaborate with the wider C#/.Net team. The role is a Senior role so having mentoring experience or the desire to potentially lead in the future would be beneficial. This company are based in Oxford and require office working of once a month. Technical Requirements 5+ years working with SQL Server – 2016 or later.
