Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Bid Writer to join their dynamic pre-construction team. The Role As the Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in shaping winning tender submissions and securing high-value construction projects. You will be responsible for producing compelling written content, coordinating bid information, and ensuring all submissions reflect the company’s capabilities, values, and strengths. Key Responsibilities • Develop high-quality, persuasive bid responses and tender documents, • Work closely with technical teams, project managers, estimators, and the leadership team to gather accurate information, • Research and understand client requirements, industry standards, and project specifics, • Lead the bid writing process from initial review to final submission, • Review and proofread all bid content ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency, • Manage bid deadlines and coordinate contributions across departments, • Maintain and update a library of previous submissions and bid materials, • Previous experience as a Bid Writer within the construction, engineering, or related built-environment sectors, • Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills, • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to structure complex information clearly, • Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple deadlines, • Excellent organisational skills and a collaborative approach, • Strong research and analytical skills, • Opportunity to work with a respected and growing construction company, • Supportive, collaborative working environment, • Career progression opportunities, • Competitive salary and benefits package
