The Lettings Consultant will act as the face of the lettings department, responsible for building relationships with landlords and tenants, conducting viewings, negotiating lets, and ensuring a smooth rental process from instruction through to move-in. In addition, the role will involve day-to-day property management duties, ensuring a high standard of service is delivered throughout the tenancy lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Registering and qualifying applicants, matching tenants with suitable properties., • Conducting property viewings and providing feedback to landlords., • Negotiating tenancy terms between landlords and tenants., • Assisting with the marketing and promotion of rental properties., • Processing tenancy applications, referencing, and tenancy agreements., • Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and company procedures., • Handling tenancy renewals, extensions, and rent reviews., • Coordinating property maintenance and liaising with contractors and landlords., • Conducting regular property inspections and preparing inspection reports., • Managing deposit registration, check-in and check-out processes., • Addressing tenant queries and resolving issues promptly and professionally., • Supporting branch lettings and property management targets and KPIs., • Representing the business in a professional, approachable, and trustworthy mann...
