Full job description Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in gas installation and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in various technical skills. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities We’re seeking an engineer with experience in servicing and repairing a wide variety of boilers, gas appliances, and plumbing systems. While the main focus will be service and repair, you’ll also assist in other areas of plumbing and heating when required. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where no two days are the same. You’ll work independently as well as part of a team, going above and beyond to deliver great service to our customers. You may be required to work on-call pro rata, with opportunities for additional earnings. As the company grows, there will be clear opportunities for promotion and progression. Requirements Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role within the gas industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Proficiency in plumbing. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Valid gas qualifications are essential. Natural Gas essential, LPG preferred but not essential. Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
