As part of our growth, we are integrating the QHSE function to serve the overall operations of Framatome Ltd in the UK and liaise with Framatome Group with this respect. Your primary responsibility is to effectively manage the HSE organisation, primarily in the New Builds Projects team to perform both control and assurance activities required to meet our business needs and overarching ambition in term of Health & Safety. In particular, you will ensure that the HSE capacities and capabilities are sufficiently developed and matured to deliver value to our customers and mitigate business risks for Framatome Ltd. The role: • Lead the HSE team of New Build Projects to ensure progress on HSE and nuclear safety related actions, programs and initiatives, review KPI, • Ensure that the HSE teams are effectively supporting operation (preparation and review of RAMS, ITPs, radiological control, etc.), • Plan and oversee internal audit and supplier audit programs relevant for the business, • Input into Management Reviews (eg. Stakeholder analysis, SWOT/R&O analysis, Action Plan), • Manage effectively through the HSE team, HSE events, incl. analysis, actions planning to resolve, efficiency monitoring and progress toward Framatome objectives, • Oversee the closing process of accidents and incidents, • Support tender activities in relation to HSE We are looking for: • Working experience and strong knowledge of relevant ISO standards (ISO 14001, 45001,19443) and working knowledge of IMS systems, • Lead auditor for ISO14001, 45001, • IOSH / NEBOSH safety certificate, • Experience in Accident / Incident Investigation /Problem solving, • Experience in highly regulated industries. Experience of Nuclear industry is highly desirable., • Understanding of the key attributes of nuclear safety culture, • Demonstrable field engagement (sites and workshop), • Experience in Project Management delivery, work at construction site (or relevant challenging environment), manufacturing (incl. welding), • Good knowledge of CDM regulation, • Good knowledge of performance management techniques and/or route cause analysis technics (FMEA, A-Z, 5 Whys LEAN, Six Sigma) Relevant experience and characteristics: • Experience of developing and implementing processes and procedures., • On-site and off-site experience of manufacturing, fabrication and erection including lifting operations, Temporary Works etc, • CSCS Managers and Professionals Test, • Ability to manage and organise team of HSE professionals, • Excellent team working skills, • The ability to work with minimum supervision and intervention, • Ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative with a can -do attitude, • Ability to take responsibility for problems within their own remit and to deliver solutions, • Results focused with the ability to meet commitments and deadlines., • Assertive – gets things done when they need to be, • Confident manner, good presentation skills, • Determination – not easily discouraged or put off, • Passion, enthusiasm, and charisma., • Positive outlook – always sees opportunity through any adversity, • Resilient – ready to bounce back from any challenges, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including influencing and presenting, • Discretion, ability to maintain confidentiality Benefits: For this role we are offering a salary of up to £63,000 dependent on experience, plus benefits, including, but not limited to: • 25 days annual leave per year rising by 1 day for every 2 years worked (max 30 days) + Bank Holidays, • 8% employer pension contribution with employee 1% contribution (salary sacrifice), • Individual and family private health care, • Dental insurance for employees, • Cashplan – Level 2 cover, • Life assurance (4x salary), • Employee assistance programme (EAP), • Income Protection, • Professional Body Membership, • Tusker Electric car scheme (salary sacrifice), • Cycle to Work scheme (salary sacrifice), • Babbel – learn a new language, • Generous family leave
