Business Development Manager Location: Sunbury (TW16)Salary: £30,000–£32,000 + Uncapped CommissionJob Type: Full-time, Permanent I am working with a specialist logistics provider based in Sunbury that focuses on high-value furniture, artwork, and antiques. They support luxury interior designers, design furniture brands, art galleries, and private clients with premium storage, transportation, packing, and white-glove delivery services across the UK, Europe, and worldwide. Role Overview This business is seeking a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, build long-term client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be proactive, target-focused, and confident when engaging both new and existing customers within the luxury, logistics, and design sectors. Key Responsibilities • Identify and pursue new business through prospecting, networking, and market research, • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, • Maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, • Understand client needs and offer tailored logistics solutions, • Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and presentations, • Negotiate commercial terms and close business agreements, • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery, • Record sales activity accurately using CRM systems, • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets, • Experience in business development, sales, or account management, • Logistics, freight, or supply chain experience is advantageous but not essential, • Proven success in generating leads and securing new business, • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, • Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven, • Comfortable working in a target-led, commission-based role, • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, • Basic salary of £30,000–£32,000 plus uncapped commission, • Growth opportunities within a premium and expanding logistics business, • Supportive office environment based in Sunbury, • Ongoing training and development, • Pension scheme and standard holiday entitlement Monday to Friday, standard business hours (flexibility required for client meetings).
