Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: OR - Operating Room, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 12/12/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, flexible, • Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Facility: Harborview Medical Center (Magnet, Teaching, Level I Trauma) Location: Seattle, WA 98104 Unit: Operating Room Start Date: 01/05/2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: • Day: 3x12 (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), • Night: 3x12 (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) Other rotation times: 8:45 AM – 9:15 PM, 10:45 AM – 11:15 PM Schedule Type: Rotating days/nights/weekends (No block scheduling; MUST be flexible) Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period On-Call: Not required Floating: No First-Time Travelers: Accepted (must meet trauma + neuro requirements) Scrubs: Provided by facility Job Summary Harborview Medical Center’s Level I adult & pediatric trauma OR is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN capable of circulating in a high-acuity, high-volume environment. The unit handles 60–70 cases per day across 25 ORs, with heavy emphasis on orthopedic, spine, trauma, and neuro cases. This role requires strong trauma experience and the ability to work a fully variable schedule with rotating shifts and weekends. Required Experience • Minimum 2 years OR RN experience – REQUIRED, • Level II Trauma experience – HARDSTOP, • Level I Trauma experience – Preferred, • Neuro OR experience – REQUIRED, • Ortho/Spine experience strongly preferred, • Prefer 3–4 years total OR experience, • BLS – REQUIRED Circulating required Screen out if weak in Trauma, Neuro, or Ortho/Spine Trauma & Emergency • Gunshot/stab wounds, • MVAs / multi-system trauma, • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair*, • Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)*, • Craniotomy, • Laminectomy/Discectomy, • Lumbar fusion, • Anterior cervical fusion*, • ALIF*, • XLIF*, • Open & closed fracture repairs, • Total joint replacements*, • Beds/Rooms: 25 OR suites, • Daily Case Volume: 60–70 cases/day, • Age Groups: Neonates → Geriatrics, • Service Lines:, • Ortho / Spine / Neuro (heavy), • Trauma, • General, • Ophthalmology, • Vascular, • Radiology, • Interpretation Services, • Pre-approved PTO: 1 request, • Orientation: 28 hours, • Holiday RTO Restrictions:, • Traveler may request 1 major holiday, • Plus 3 non-holiday RTO days outside blackout dates, • Max 6 days total RTO, • RTO after booking not allowed, • Manager does not interview Fridays, • OR RN must have strong trauma + neuro background, • Expected to work rotating shifts including evenings & weekends, • Must be flexible with shift start times, • No pending license accepted, • WA License Required, • Compact license NOT accepted, • Charting: Epic, • Medication: Pyxis, • Parking:, • $13/day (Day shift), • $4/day (Night shift), • Facility Type: Magnet, Level I Trauma, Academic, • Total Beds: 500+, • Unit: 25 OR suites, • Very high acuity trauma & neuro environment, • Often extends travel contracts Benefits:-\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\nReferral Bonus Programs About Binding Minds Binding Minds: Healthcare Staffing firm where your talent is valued, and your career has a true partner.
