Job Description APPRENTICE ELECTRICIANS Learn electrical construction on cutting-edge data center projects with Data One Construction. We're hiring 14 apprentice electricians to train alongside experienced journeymen and foremen while building the infrastructure that powers the digital world. POSITIONS AVAILABLE (14 OPENINGS) Megabay Cluster Wiring: 4 apprentices Cable Tray Installation (Bloom): 3 apprentices Communication Cabling (Bloom): 3 apprentices Power Wiring (Bloom): 3 apprentices Grounding Systems: 1 apprentice WHAT YOU'LL LEARN Hands-On Training in: • Electrical conduit installation (EMT, rigid, PVC), • Wire pulling and terminations, • Cable tray and ladder rack installation, • Panel wiring and equipment connections, • Communication and data cabling, • Grounding and bonding systems, • Blueprint reading, • NEC code compliance, • Safety practices and OSHA standards Advanced Systems Exposure: • Medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) distribution, • Critical power systems (UPS, generators), • Data center electrical infrastructure, • Mission-critical installations WHAT YOU'LL DO Daily Responsibilities: • Assist journeyman electricians with installations, • Prep materials, organize tools and equipment, • Install conduit, pull wire, make connections, • Help with cable tray installation and support, • Maintain clean, organized work areas, • Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE, • Learn from experienced electricians REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Enrolled in electrical apprenticeship program OR willing to enroll, • High school diploma or GED, • Basic understanding of electrical work (helpful but not required), • Ability to use hand and power tools, • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, work on feet all day, • Valid driver's license, • Reliable transportation, • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn, • Able to work overtime and weekends as needed PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Previous construction or electrical experience, • Trade school or technical education, • OSHA 10 certification (we'll provide if you don't have it), • Own basic hand tools, • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Benefits: • Health, dental, vision insurance, • 401(k) with company match, • Paid time off, • Tool allowance, • Safety equipment providedCompany DescriptionAt Data One Construction, you’ll be part of building the infrastructure that powers today’s digital world.
