Job DescriptionSenior Accountant Location: West Hollywood, CA (On-Site) Organization Type: Non-Profit Compensation: $40.00-$45.00 per hour Our client, a non-profit based in West Hollywood, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and help ensure the accuracy and transparency of their financial operations. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the organization's financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting a mission-driven organization. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements., • Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries., • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes., • Assist with annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and non-profit regulations., • Develop and monitor budgets in collaboration with department leaders., • Maintain accurate grant and fund accounting records., • Support financial forecasting and cash flow management.Qualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)., • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a non-profit setting., • Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles., • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Excel., • Excellent organizational and communication skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour Search managed by: Ryan Sydow Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
