Intern Responsibilities: • Perform data validation and clean-up on data sets, • Run financial reports on a weekly basis, • Compile data on current and historic capital and expense projects, • Assist Budget Analysts with the preparation of the tri-annual capital and quarterly expense, • Assist Budget Analysts in monitoring project financial statuses by reviewing revenues, expenditures, and payments made to date, • Assist the Expense and Revenue team on 2025 Fiscal Year End deliverables, • Assist in the preparation of the Capital Plan, • Preferred field(s) of study: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Public Administration, Accounting, Political Science, or related field., • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program; recent graduates are also encouraged to apply, • Demonstrated enthusiasm for the mission of NYCEDC, • Demonstrated written, verbal, and analytical skills, • Demonstrated experience in using database and presentation tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task and manage deadlines, • Ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams NYCEDC is committed to offering competitive benefits to support employee health, happiness, and work-life balance.
