Job DescriptionDescription: IN HOME COUNSELING/ METRO ATLANTA AREA The Sprout Behavioral Health program is seeking Student and Licensed Counselors including Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Associate Professional Counselor to join our team. Duties/Responsibilities: • Perform on-site and virtual clinical counseling services to clients of SBH Therapy, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies. The amount of on-site vs. virtual sessions will depend upon the need of practice, clients, and CD recommendation., • Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required., • Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for SBH Therapy., • Respond to client’s requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the SBH Therapy website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients., • Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary., • Timely complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by SBH Therapy or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week). Keep client files accurate and up to date., • Charge and collect payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by SBH Therapy., • Attend staff meetings, supervision, consultations, and trainings as directed by your supervisor., • Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of SBH Therapy. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers., • Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn., • Assist with marketing, speaking engagements, community outreach, and other duties as may be assigned, as needed by Clinical Director. Job Responsibilities: • Manage a part-time caseload (15 counseling hours weekly)., • Collaborate with children, families, schools, and other community members to build skills and achieve treatment goals., • Offer effective clinical services through all stages of treatment: Engagement, Empowerment, and Transition, per agency protocols., • Comply with all payor and agency service documentation requirements using our state of the art, HIPAA-compliant, electronic medical record system., • Are passionate about serving children and their families, • Looking for a career, rather than a job, in social services/counseling, • Value the collaboration of a team, but can work autonomously and prioritize their own tasks, • Enjoy both community-based and office-based work environments, • Value feedback and team-based accountability, • Have mental flexibility and can adapt to change with ease, • Possess strong writing skills, • Supportive management team and coworkers., • Free CEU offerings., • Opportunity to build lasting community partnerships and professional relationships., • Short & long term disability, dental, vision, and life insurance options., • Self-determined schedule, • Travel stipend, • Professional development assistance, • Remote work options, • Clinic, • In-person, • Private practice, • Remote, • Day shift, • Monday to Friday Requirements: Qualifications and Skills: • Align with mission, vision, and values of SBH Therapy., • Must be punctual in reporting to work., • Master’s Degree in counseling or social work; and, • Active license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the State of Georgia (must be associate or fully licensed). A copy must be provided to your supervisor before hire., • Available to hold at least 25 client sessions per week for full time (minimum of 15 client sessions per week if part-time), provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by SBH Therapy., • Be organized and detail oriented., • Be a team player., • Be able to work independently on tasks assigned., • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills., • Prior experience in a private practice setting highly preferred., • Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.). Experience: • Clinical counseling: 1 year (Required) Other Requirements: • Valid Driver's License (Required), • Must pass background checks, • Liability Insurance (Required)
