POSITION DESCRIPTION (What youll do) As a Coach Across America AmeriCorps member, you will coach teams and/or lead programs for elementary to high school age youth. Experience is not required, but it is preferred that you have some experience working with youth, sports, or both. We provide on-going training opportunities to support you during your service. Below are some specific tasks you may be asked to do: Head coach or assistant coach a 90+ soccer team Lead the Spokane Public Schools and 90+ Project after school program. Coach soccer in settings such as after school programming, PE classes, individual and team training, community engagement clinics, etc. Help implement soccer programming developed by the 90+ Staff and Community Engagement Coordinator. Help students develop social-emotional skills throughout their day, using evidence-based strategies learned during Coach Across America and 90+ Project Training. Develop sport skills by student level, physically displaying and encouraging sport activity. Create an engaging, safe, and healthy play space for youth to thrive Additionally, the Coach Across America AmeriCorps / 90+ Coach will: Encourage participants to gain and develop life skills, knowledge, and techniques through sport, using lessons learned at Coach Across America's best-in-class training events. Job Summary The Senior Executive Assistant/Board Manager reports to the President and provides executive support in a close partnership with the President. The Senior Executive Assistant/Board Manager serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President. The Senior Executive Assistant/Board Manager serves as a manager for the Board of Directors by supporting effective Board functioning, engagement, and Board member onboarding, as well as a liaison for the Board and executive management team. Job Description DEPARTMENT: THE WAY OUT CENTER POSITION TITLE: PROGRAM ATTENDANT STATUS: ON-CALL, NON-EXEMPT SUPERVISOR: THE WAY OUT PROGRAM MANAGER MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. SCOPE OF POSITION: This position follows policies and procedures for The Way Out Center Bridge Housing Program under the direction of the Lead Program Attendant, Assistant Program Manager and/or Program Manager. The Program Attendant provides support and direction to the guests of the program. The Program Attendant works with individuals who are struggling with issues related to homelessness, mental health, addiction and/or chronic illness. The Program Attendant is responsible for demonstrating and inspiring hope, trust, and a positive outlook. They will cultivate connections with a broad range of community-based services and support. The Program Attendant will work as a team member to provide safe, stable, temporary housing with supportive services to the guests of the Bridge Housing Program. The Program Attendant may have contact with public or office environments that may risk exposure to irrational/hostile behavior, typical/extreme weather conditions, contagious parasites/diseases or contact with domestic animals. A single shift may be up to 12 hours and overnights, to include weekends as an on-call position.
