Overview of Role: The Director, Program Manager – Distribution, under the supervision of the SVP, Distribution Innovation, supports cross-departmental oversight for the ASCAP royalty distribution cycle and helps ensure continuous operational alignment, risk management and process optimization throughout the cycle. This is an office-based role. Job overview: As a Staff Accountant, you will be a critical team member of ASCAP’s Accounting & Finance team and will ensure that our hard-working songwriter and publisher members are correctly paid for public performances of their licensed works. You'll have the opportunity to work in several different areas, including royalty operations, revenue accounting, and with ASCAP's general ledger. Outside of the day-to-day work within the Accounting & Finance Department, you will work closely with other ASCAP teams including, but not limited to, the Membership, Licensing, Global Services, Distribution, and Human Resources Teams, working on cross-department projects as they come up. This position will report to the Director, Accounting.
