Job Purpose The Physician Advisor performs case reviews of all case types in a knowledgeable and conscientious manner to achieve the highest degree of compliance. The Physician Advisor works closely with the Client’s medical staff leadership, the entire medical staff, including resident physician house staff, all areas of resource management, case management, social services, discharge planning, and utilization management to recommend methods to optimize use of hospital services for all patients. This includes identifying opportunities to optimize length of hospital stay and efficient management of resources, ensuring patients are in the appropriate level of care, supporting documentation, coding improvements and compliance, and monitoring the appropriate use of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. Duties and Responsibilities • Responds to requests for assistance on clinical reviews for medical necessity or any other reason, by any member of the Case Management department in a timely fashion, • Provides consultation to attendings, nurses, and case management staff regarding complex clinical issues and advises on justification required for continued stay, medical necessity and utilization management, • Obtains familiarity and working knowledge of standard published criteria such as MCG/InterQual and applies professional judgment and patient specific variables as may be necessary or justifiable, • Maintains accountability for achieving case management outcomes and fulfills the obligations and responsibilities of the role to support the medical staff in the clinical progression of patient care, • Describes ways to provide improved health record documentation that specifically affect ICD code assignment capture of severity, acuity, risk of mortality, and DRG assignment, • Participates in ongoing training and education related to the Physician Advisor role and responsibilities including topics related to Utilization Management, Care Management and other related areas as requested, • Meets productivity and quality standards within established time requirements. The Operations Manager - LPM at the Sheraton New York Times Square will report to Director of Loss Prevention and will be responsible for managing security/loss prevention on a daily basis. This includes standing at the edge of the pool or using the elevated lifeguard chair, actively looking at the water and swimmers, staying alert and scanning from one end of the pool to the other by moving their head side to side every 10 seconds., • Must sit in an alert position and does not lean or recline in a resting position while on duty., • Minimize all distractions that may interfere with effective scanning, such as not engaging in extended conversations with other staff or members., • Must be skilled in observing the behavior of swimmers in the water and be ready at all times to stop dangerous behavior., • Move to another area when multiple lifeguards are on duty to ensure appropriate zone coverage of the pool., • Knows/reviews all emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations immediately in accordance with emergency action plan and provide first aid care when needed., • Maintains effective, positive relationships with the members, participants and other staff., • Perform equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed., • Check the pool for hazardous conditions when arriving and throughout shift., • Attend all staff meetings and training as required., • Be 5-10 minutes early to every shift and record time worked correctly with limited mistakes., • Must find coverage if unable to attend a shift. Job Description We have a new client with an exciting orthodontic sales opportunity! Our client is an established global manufacturer that is building out a North American Commercial Team. They are hiring a sales contributor in the NYC Market. The primary responsibility of an Area Sales Manager is to meet or exceed sales objectives for all of the company's products by developing profitable relationships with targeted orthodontic and dental practices and the dental community at large. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for increasing sales and customer satisfaction within an assigned geographic area. This requires an ability to both leverage and build relationships with customers, proactively identify the solutions they need, and think commercially. Existing orthodontic relationships are a MUST! Job Responsibilities This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: • Drive profitable sales growth and maximize sales revenue within a defined area by developing, maintaining, and advancing existing accounts and prospects through the sale of all product lines, • Create an unparalleled customer experience by acting as a strategic business partner to existing customers within the defined area by focusing on customers’ growth goals and how our client can help them achieve these goals, • Achieve new business targets by proactively identifying, targeting and converting prospect accounts and new business with orthodontists and dentists in the defined regional area, • Prepare and maintain territory business plans, sales forecasts and a sales promotion activity budget. Assess current performance and forecast when change is necessary, • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Market Communications to support the execution of all marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives, • Attend and represent the company at customer events as required, including but not limited to regional events, national trade shows, etc, • Effectively and efficiently leverage education events to develop existing customers, build brand presentation is rolled out in study club, and develop customer relationships with existing and new participants, • Keep abreast of key clinical studies and scientific papers supporting AngelAligner product benefits, • As they become available use of all sales tools, such as CRM, to effectively plan and measure sales activities against area’s prospective customers Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in high-growth corporate markets, • Prior sales experience with Orthodontists and Dentists as the principal point of contact preferred is strongly preferred, • Effective communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are desired, • Strong oral and written communications, including presentation skills, are required, • Capable of working both collaborative with team members within the region as well as independently, • Maintains integrity, high ethics and professional codes of conduct at all times, • Able to deliver highly complex information in clear, structured and compelling manner, • Proficiency in consultative selling with knowledge of the Challenger technique or related method preferred, • General computer efficiency including ability to operate CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, • You must possess a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and maintain auto insurance coverage If you feel as though this role is perfect for you, we'd love to talk with you!
