About the Company Our client, a really unique company in La Mirada, CA that creates custom art installations and wall covering for large-scale residential and commercial interior design projects, is hiring for a Project Management Officer to report to the Director of Operations. About the Role This position will manage projects and business imperatives across Operations, Supply Chain, Creative, Product, Sales, and Finance teams to drive strategic initiatives that impact the entire organization. This is a fully onsite role M-F with hours of 7:00am-3:30/4:00pm. Responsibilities • Establish and maintain PMO standards, tools, templates, and best practices, • Define project intake, prioritization, and governance processes, • Ensure consistent project reporting, risk management, and escalation, • Lead and oversee a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives, • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Creative, Product, Sales, and Finance teams, • Facilitate decision-making, remove blockers, and manage interdependencies, • Drive continuous improvement and project management maturity, • Coach leaders and teams on project planning and execution, • Manage and develop PMO team members (if applicable) Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field, • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification, • 8+ years of project or program management experience, • 3+ years in a PMO leadership or senior project management role, • Experience in manufacturing or operations-driven environments, • ERP implementation experience, • Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) certification, • Experience in consumer goods or manufacturing environments Required Skills • Strong execution and organizational skills, • Expert in change management and implementation, • Excellent stakeholder and executive communication, • Ability to lead without direct authority, • Pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
