Job Description American Dawn is seeking a Creative & Social Media Content Designer to support both the execution of our brand design initiatives and the development of engaging digital content. This role is equally focused on producing high-quality marketing materials — including flyers, logos, presentations, catalogs, packaging, trade show assets, and sales collateral — and creating and publishing social media content that strengthens our brand presence. The ideal candidate is a strong visual designer who understands today’s digital landscape. They are comfortable designing production-ready marketing assets while also creating, editing, posting, and monitoring social content that aligns with brand standards and current trends. We are a small, collaborative marketing team, so we are looking for someone creative, highly organized, a team player, and able to move quickly without sacrificing quality. The right candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. They take initiative, communicate clearly, and thrive in a hands-on environment where everyone plays an important role. Key Responsibilities Brand & Creative Design • Design marketing assets across digital and print channels, including social media graphics, email marketing, logos, presentations, flyers, signage, catalogs, product tags, packaging, banners, trade show booths, and event materials, • Ensure all creative assets align with American Dawn’s brand standards and visual identity, • Prepare production-ready files for print, digital publishing, and external vendors, • Support product and service branding initiatives, including logo updates, brand asset development, and maintaining brand guidelines, • Create, edit, post, and manage content across social media platforms, • Develop short-form video content for social media and product launches (planning, shooting, editing, and publishing), • Stay up to date on social media trends, short-form video formats, platform algorithms, and competitor activity, • Identify relevant trends and translate them into brand-aligned, business-focused content, • Write and assist with product, marketing, and social media copy aligned with the company’s brand voice, • Support creative and marketing projects from concept through execution, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met, • Create and manage project plans for assigned initiatives, tracking deadlines and proactively communicating updates, • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams, • Support photoshoots and content capture sessions, • Assist with trade shows and events, including asset creation, vendor coordination, preparation, on-site setup, and live content capture Qualifications • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office), • Bachelor’s degree required, • Graphic design experience across digital and print, • Experience creating, editing, and posting content for social media, • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva, • Experience with Mailchimp for email marketing, • Familiarity with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar), • Basic knowledge of photography, lighting, and video production is a plus, • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, • Ability to adapt quickly and incorporate feedback effectively, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, • Self-starter with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn, • Willingness to travel and attend events as needed, • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, • Portfolio required (must include both design and social/video work)
