Job DescriptionBenefits: • Bonus based on performance, • Competitive salary Benefits/Perks: • Competitive Pay, • Paid Vacation and Holiday, • Performance Bonus, • Ongoing Training Opportunities A Successful FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist Will: PRODUCTION: • Graphic Application: Follow layouts to apply computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphics to specified substrates., • Substrate Preparation: Prepare surfaces for vinyl application by cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning., • Vinyl Weeding: Remove excess vinyl from cut images, adjusting techniques for different sizes, types, and complexities., • Printer Operation: Operate and maintain printers., • Quality Assurance: Conduct pre- and post-production quality checks by interpreting work orders and proofing for errors., • Finishing: Laminate and mount printed materials as needed., • Inventory Management: Report inventory levels and reorder needs to the manager., • Storage Maintenance: Clean and upkeep storage areas.GRAPHIC DESIGN:, • Create Graphics and Outputs: Design and produce full-color graphics or vinyl products that can be printed, mounted, or applied to substrates., • Complete/Modify Designs: Work with customer drawings and files to complete or modify designs for media output., • Design Layouts: Arrange the size and position of images and text, choose styles and fonts, and create layouts based on space, design aesthetics, and production needs., • Quality Control: Verify job accuracy before output. Ensure material and device settings are correct for each job., • Manage Logo Library: Maintain and convert customer logo files as needed.Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist / Graphic Designer:, • 1-2 years of experience in sign production or graphic design preferred, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more), • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds, • Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate, • Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work, • Ability to use light power equipment Do you enjoy working with people?
