The Role: The Senior Designer is responsible for leading design efforts, overseeing the preparation of construction documents, and mentoring junior staff. This role involves managing design projects from concept to completion, with an emphasis on technical accuracy, client satisfaction, and coordination with consultants. Responsibilities: • Lead the development of design concepts, working closely with clients and internal teams to translate client needs into innovative architectural solutions., • Prepare detailed construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and technical specifications, ensuring compliance with codes and standards., • Oversee the coordination of building systems (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical) with consultants, ensuring seamless integration in the architectural design., • Review design drawings, specifications, and other project documentation for accuracy, quality, and alignment with project goals., • Serve as a mentor to junior designers, providing guidance on design, technical issues, and professional development., • Manage project schedules and resources, ensuring that design milestones are met on time and within budget., • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants during the construction phase to address design-related challenges and ensure adherence to design intent. Required • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and rendering software such as Lumion., • 10 + years of experience in architectural design, • Ability to lead design teams and manage complex design tasks from concept to completion., • Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and project requirements, • Proven experience coordinating building systems in collaboration with consultants and contractors, • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients, consultants, and project teams, • Master’s degree in Architecture., • Pursuit of architectural licensure., • Experience with large or complex projects.
