Job DescriptionJob Title: Bus Person Department: Restaurant Reports To: Outlet Manager/Assistant Managers SUMMARY: Service of food and beverages to Restaurant area in order to maximize guest satisfaction and enhance a pleasant dining experience. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Maintains cleanliness of stations., • Ensure sufficient working utensils and replenishment before, during and after service hours., • Communicate any guest dissatisfaction or discrepancies to management as soon as received., • Practice good personal hygiene as per company., • Ensure the dining room tables and buffet area is consistently clean and set up according to standards., • Ensure guests are being assisted in a prompt manner and their requests are met in a friendly and courteous manner., • Ensures that the overall condition of dining room is always refreshed and rectify when needed., • Have all the par levels for supplies and equipment replenished before finishing shift., • Ensures adherence to all health and safety regulations and procedures. Must be Safe Serve Certified., • Clean and reset tables for new guests in a timely manner with attention to details from table top, to settings, seat, walls and flooring., • Adhere to service standards according to company., • Assist servers with large orders to ensure timely delivery to guests., • Maintain uniforms issued by company in good shape., • Attend training classes when schedule., • Adhere to all request/directions made by guests and management., • Must be able to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming., • Ensures all guests issues and concerns are solved if, • Monitor and supervise the flow of every Outlet and assist with guests as needed., • Monitor quality of service., • Be visible on every area of the Outlets and assist staff as needed especially during peak hours., • Familiarize all promotions in Restaurant to better assist guests., • Must be able to maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times while all encounters are always attentive and courteous., • Attends department meetings when scheduled., • Must work weekends and holidays according to schedule., • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to clearly and precisely relay information about hotel and outlets to guests in English, both written and verbal form. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction , multiplies and divides. Be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form..
