Ideal candidate should have: A personal interest in wellness and healthy living A minimum of 3 years of direct medical/wellness administrative experience. Familiarity with commercial insurances and out-of-network eligibility. Ability to type 65 + wpm Have a creative mindset and desire to grow the practice Duties will include the following: Greet patients, provide basic orientation to the practice and ensure an excellent patient experience. Checks-in patients, verify health insurance and collect payments. Obtain accurate and complete personal information from the patient as required for registration Keeps track of appointment schedules and confirms patient appointments. Collects payments and open balances. Answer telephone calls, office texts messages, and emails appropriately. Follow-up on missed appointments Make routine follow up appointments as required. Help resolve patient inquires about insurance coverage and practice information Keep accurate records (patient information, received payments etc.) Reconciliation of cash, credit cards, receipts and encounter forms.
