Pride Health is seeking an Sterile Processing Technician supporting 35+ OR suites, AFC units, and clinics In Rochester, NY 14642. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring surgical instruments and equipment are properly decontaminated, sterilized, and ready for patient care using advanced systems like Getinge T-DOC barcode tracking. Key Responsibilities 🧼 Decontaminate, disinfect (HLD), assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments, trays, and equipment 📦 Inspect, package, and prepare surgical case carts per protocol ⚙️ Operate sterilizers and monitor time, temperature, and pressure for quality assurance 🧪 Perform biological testing, interpret results, and maintain documentation 🛠️ Check, adjust, and maintain medical equipment; send items for repair when needed 🚚 Manage inventory, receive supplies, maintain stock levels, and distribute as required 📊 Ensure quality assurance, sterility compliance, and accurate documentation daily 🏭 Equipment You’ll Work With Sterilizers | Ultrasonic washers | Heat sealers | Cart washers | Aerators | Steris units | Surgical tools & repair equipment Require Qualifications ✔️ Certified Sterile Processor (HSPA or CBSPD) ✔️ BLS (American Heart Association only) ❤️ ✔️ Minimum 3 years of Sterile Processing experience ✔️ Experience in a large hospital (500+ beds) ✔️ At least 6 months of travel SPT experience ✈️ ✔️ 2 professional references (recent roles) ⭐ Preferred Qualifications ➕ Level 1 Trauma Center experience ➕ Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) ➕ Orthopedic tray experience Additional Information: Location: Rochester, New York, 14642 Shift Schedule:5x8 (Evenings, weekends, holidays + on-call/callback as needed) Contract Length:13 weeks with possible extension Pay Range:$28.00-$31.05 Interested?
