We are continually developing products that are innovative, effective, and ensure that our customers feel beautiful inside and out. \n \n About the Role \n The Manager, Regulatory Affairs is responsible for managing and executing day-to-day regulatory activities across AS Beauty’s portfolio of brands, supporting the product lifecycle from new product development through testing, regulatory documentation, product registrations, and ongoing post-launch compliance. \n \n This role independently manages key regulatory workstreams including Product Information Files (PIFs), regulatory documentation, domestic and international product registrations, product testing coordination, stability and compatibility testing, certification programs, ingredient list administration, and regulatory records and systems. \n \n Working closely with the Director of Regulatory Affairs, the Manager will ensure regulatory documentation, submissions, testing activities, and project deliverables are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate will be able to independently manage assigned projects, proactively drive follow-up with internal and external partners, identify potential issues, and appropriately escalate matters requiring technical regulatory interpretation or risk assessment. \n \n Responsibilities \n \n Regulatory Documentation & Product Information Files \n\n • Manage regulatory documentation and Product Information Files (PIFs) for new and existing products, including document requests, collection, follow-up, compilation, maintenance, and filing.\n, • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain required formula documentation, specifications, testing reports, certificates, statements, safety documentation, and other supporting regulatory records; monitor outstanding and expiring documentation and proactively coordinate updates.\n\n \n Domestic & International Product Registration \n\n • Manage day-to-day domestic and international product registration activities, including preparing, compiling, submitting, tracking, renewing, and maintaining registrations and notifications.\n, • Coordinate international registration requirements with manufacturers, Responsible Persons, distributors, and other regulatory partners; maintain registration databases and records, including applicable countries, products, SKUs/shades, registration numbers, status, and renewal requirements.\n, • Gather registration quotes and maintain regulatory cost information to support market-expansion planning and budgeting.\n\n \n Product Testing \n\n • Manage day-to-day product testing coordination, including initiating required testing, coordinating samples and documentation, working directly with manufacturers and third-party laboratories, tracking timelines and results, maintaining testing records, and helping resolve routine testing questions or issues.\n, • Coordinate stability and compatibility testing with Product Development, manufacturers, and third-party laboratories, including testing requirements, samples, timelines, follow-up, results, and final documentation.\n\n \n Ingredient Lists & QA Information \n\n • Obtain, prepare, format, and maintain finalized ingredient lists, including universal ILs, cumulative/kit ILs, and legacy IL updates, in accordance with established Regulatory requirements and templates, including application of established translations and market-specific formatting requirements.\n, • Enter and maintain finalized ingredient list and QA information in applicable internal systems and coordinate updates when revised information is received.\n\n \n New Product Development & External Partner Management \n\n • Provide Regulatory and Quality support throughout new product development, including coordination of product testing, ingredient list administration, QA information, regulatory documentation, and other assigned product quality or compliance requirements.\n, • Serve as a primary day-to-day Regulatory liaison with manufacturers, suppliers, testing laboratories, consultants, and other external partners, coordinating regulatory, quality, testing, ingredient list, and documentation requirements and proactively driving outstanding requests and assigned projects through completion.\n\n \n Retail, Commercial Programs & Compliance \n\n • Own the coordination and maintenance of regulatory and quality documentation required for QVC, international programs, retailers, and other applicable commercial initiatives, including product setup and ongoing documentation requirements.\n, • Support Off-Price and other assigned business needs through coordination and maintenance of required regulatory and quality documentation, ingredient lists, QA information, international/EU/UK documentation, and other supporting regulatory records.\n, • Manage assigned certification and compliance programs, including documentation collection, submissions, renewals, supplier follow-up, and record maintenance; support programs such as Leaping Bunny and other applicable certifications.\n, • Support assigned U.S. regulatory administrative activities, including MoCRA-related product information, submissions, record maintenance, tracking, and follow-up.\n\n \n Regulatory Operations & Process Improvement \n\n • Maintain Regulatory Affairs trackers, databases, SmartSheet records, testing records, registration records, shared files, and historical documentation to ensure project information remains current and accessible.\n, • Manage recurring day-to-day Regulatory Affairs administrative processes and coordinate regulatory data and documentation needs across Product Development, Off-Price, Marketing/Ecommerce, Sales, International Sales, and other business functions.\n, • Identify and implement opportunities to improve regulatory workflows, tracking, documentation, and overall departmental efficiency, while clearly communicating project status, outstanding requirements, and potential delays to internal and external stakeholders.\n, • Independently resolve routine regulatory process, documentation, and testing issues while escalating matters requiring regulatory interpretation, technical assessment, or risk-based decision-making to the Director of Regulatory Affairs.\n\n \n Required Qualifications: \n\n • Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, or a related field preferred.\n, • 5–7+ years of relevant Regulatory Affairs or related experience within cosmetics, skincare, personal care, beauty, or a related consumer-products industry.\n, • Working knowledge of cosmetic regulatory documentation, product registrations, PIFs, ingredient lists, product testing, and supporting compliance records.\n, • Experience coordinating domestic and international product registrations and working with external Responsible Persons, manufacturers, and regulatory partners.\n, • Experience working with cosmetic manufacturers, suppliers, and third-party testing laboratories.\n, • Strong project-management and organizational skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects, deadlines, and documentation workstreams simultaneously.\n, • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accurate regulatory records, trackers, databases, and supporting documentation.\n, • Ability to identify routine issues, drive follow-up independently, and recognize when matters require escalation for technical regulatory review.\n, • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across Product Development, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and external partners.\n
