Neighbors in Action is seeking an Outreach Worker for the Save Our Streets (S.O.S.) Crown Heights program. Reporting to the Outreach Worker Supervisor, the Outreach Worker will serve as a mentor and peer counselor to a caseload of 10-15 high-risk individuals, redirecting them toward positive attitude, behavior, and lifestyle changes. The ESM ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including the Head Start Program Performance Standards, the Head Start Act, the NYC Department of Health, and NYC Department of Education regulations, as well as all BSECDC policies and procedures. The ESM is responsible for collaborating with other BSECDC Management Team staff to coordinate services for children and families.
