The FFT Supervisor also functions in the role of "site lead" of the FFT Program. Salary: $66,300 - $70,000 Position Summary: The MST-CAN Lead Therapist is responsible for providing model adherent, culturally competent, clinically oriented, short-term treatment to Families in our Multi Systemic Therapy- Child Abuse and Neglect (MST- CAN) program. They also provide supervisory support to the staff and assist the supervisor with program oversight. MST-CAN lead therapists report to the MST-CAN supervisor. MST- CAN is a clinical, evidence-based intensive family therapy model of approximately 6-9-months duration. This program works with the whole family with a focus on the parent and working with them to improve family functioning utilizing such tools as TF-CBT, prolonged exposure, drug treatment and family therapy techniques. Job Description The FFT Therapist provides FFT (Functional Family Therapy) virtually, to a maximum of 10 voluntarily participating families at a time who reside in NYC. The target population of young adults (16-25 years old), who are referred to us after an arrest. This is a pilot program to offer FFT to families and young people who might otherwise find themselves incarcerated without this alternative. FFT is an evidence-based model which is home-based, intensive, family therapy. The FFT Therapist participates in all FFT training and consultation activities, and program reviews. In addition to providing Family Therapy, the FFT Therapist will collaborate with other service providers, including but not limited to the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice (MOCJ) and New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA). The FFT Therapist is required to complete all FFT documentation requirements, including meeting appropriate therapeutic and engagement requirements and assessing for family safety and risk. Crew Liaisons are responsible for supervising, supporting, and inspiring ATLAS Hope participants who are engaged in transitional employment through a trauma-informed and restorative justice lens on and off the worksite and during remote sessions, and adhering to the model prescribed by UWNYC, philosophies and approaches, manuals and policies, exude a collegial nature that is rooted in authentic engagement, and relish in the opportunity to collaborate with members across teams proactively.
