The Department is responsible for all anatomic and clinical laboratory services at Community Medical Center, a 592 bed facility located in Toms River, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be a member of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology team, consulting with clinical staff.This is a general pathology service, although subspecialty expertise in cytopathology is desirable. This case has availability on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday between 10am-3pm, Tuesday or Thursday between 10am-12:30pm. Position Summary: The BCBA is responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and developing effective, individualized interventions for individuals with autism and behavior challenges. This role requires the ability to recognize and discuss signs of autism, as well as an understanding of diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum and behavioral disorder. As part of an interdisciplinary clinical team, the BCBA collaborates with other professionals to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote skill development and improve quality of life for clients. This provider will be responsible for comprehensive assessments, medication management, and coordination of care within a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and long-term wellness.
