Our team prides itself on warm hospitality, fast service, and a lively, energetic dining atmosphere. We are looking for a dependable and upbeat Food Runner / Packer to help keep service flowing smoothly. Responsibilities • Run hot ramen bowls, donburi, and small plates from the kitchen to guests quickly and safely, • Carefully pack takeout and delivery orders, ensuring proper presentation and secure packaging (especially hot soups and broths), • Double-check items for accuracy based on order tickets—condiments, toppings, utensils, etc., • Support servers and bartenders by clearing tables and keeping the dining room tidy when needed, • Maintain a clean and organized dining room, packing area, and runner station, • Assist in preparing beer, wine, and soft drinks, • Daily Side Work including restocking and cleaning, • Assist with overall flow during peak hours Qualifications • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred (ramen or Japanese cuisine a plus!), • Ability to carry hot bowls safely and move quickly between kitchen and dining areas, • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail, • Must be able to read tickets, • Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset, • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts, • Reliability and professionalism are essential

    About Lettonne Lettonne is a Brooklyn–based fashion and events brand. As we prepare for upcoming collections, we’re expanding our in-house capabilities and seeking a talented seamstress to help translate design ideas into precise, beautifully finished prototypes. The In-House Sample Maker / Seamstress will work closely with our creative director and technical designer to produce high-quality samples and prototypes. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and integral to shaping our collections from first sketch to final runway piece. Key Responsibilities • Sew, construct, and finish garment samples from patterns, muslins, or draped pieces., • Execute complex techniques such as French seams, hand-finishing, tailoring, and construction., • Work with designers and patternmaker to adjust patterns for fit and proportion., • Handle delicate and specialty fabrics (silks, wools, technical blends) with precision., • Advise on materials or construction methods when appropriate., • Maintain sewing machines, tools, and a clean, organized sample room. Desired Skills & Experience • 3+ years of professional sample-making, couture, or atelier experience (fashion house, theater, or costume background welcome)., • Advanced technical sewing skills: industrial machines, sergers, hand-finishing, and specialty stitching., • Strong understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, and fabric behavior., • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a creative team., • Comfort working on tight timelines with impeccable attention to detail. Position Details Location: In-studio, Greenpoint, Brooklyn Schedule: in-person position for part-time or full-time; flexible start date and time and weekly hourly commitment based on candidate needs. Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.     Workshop Instructor (Part-Time, Flat-Rate Contract) Location: Brooklyn, NY Dates: January 2026 – June 2026 Training Starts: January 2026 About Us: Founded in 2014, The Dinner Table Doc is a non-profit organization that partners with schools and community organizations to provide college and career readiness workshops for girls of color. Through live events and targeted programming, The Dinner Table Doc has engaged thousands of students nationwide, creating affirming spaces for young women to define success on their own terms. About the Role: We are seeking a Workshop Instructor to lead after-school programming for middle school girls in Brooklyn from January–June 2026. This role includes one weekly workshop session and one weekly prep/planning session. Training and onboarding begin in January 2026. Weekly Schedule • Workshop: Tuesdays, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM (in person), • Prep/Planning Session: Thursdays, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM (virtual or in person based on program needs) Key Responsibilities • Facilitate after-school workshops every Tuesday from January through June 2026, • Lead weekly prep sessions every Thursday to plan lessons and materials, • Build supportive, trusting relationships with students and school staff, • Implement and adapt The Dinner Table Doc’s curriculum, • Support coordination of field trips and special events, • Attend onboarding and training sessions beginning in January 2026, • Submit session attendance and feedback reports Ideal Candidate • Experience working with middle or high school students (teaching, mentoring, youth development, etc.), • Strong facilitation and communication skills, • Commitment to youth empowerment and educational equity, • Reliable availability on Tuesdays and Thursday's, • Comfortable with Google Suite and virtual communication tools Additional Information • This is a contract-based, in-person role, • Candidates must be based in or able to reliably commute to Brooklyn, NY, • To remain in compliance with NYC Department of Education partnership and site-access requirements, candidates should be prepared to complete a standard background check prior to working with students.
