Job Description Reports To: Director Program: Adult Sex Offender (ASO) Program Location: White Plains, NY Hours Per Week: Varies, availability to work after 4 pm for group sessions FLSA Status: Consultant, Non-Exempt Salary Range: $40.00/ hour for administrative tasks $135- 150/hour per group session Summary of Duties: The Bilingual Clinician will work in our Adult Sex Offender (ASO) Program, delivering sex offender-specific behavioral health services to individuals who are on probation. The clinician is responsible for the provision of direct client services through the facilitation of weekly groups and coordination with other agencies serving the clients, including probation and polygraphy. The clinician in the ASO Program will demonstrate expertise in providing trauma-informed care, utilizing evidence-based approaches specific to sex offending behavior. The Clinician must possess the ability to engage and affect change through a person-centered model. The Clinician will demonstrate initiative, flexibility, creativity, and a collaborative spirit. Responsibilities: • Provide culturally sensitive direct, clinical services, which may include but are not limited to: sex-offender-specific assessment and treatment planning, and group psychotherapy., • Document client progress to maintain a permanent record of client activity according to established methods and procedures., • Integrate findings of psychosexual evaluations into treatment., • Conduct case conferences with probationers and the probation department., • Identify case management needs of clients and coordinate with other agency staff and community agencies to have these needs met., • Collaborate with Probation and polygrapher., • Prepare status reports and documentation for the court., • Perform crisis intervention as necessary., • Participate in program development and in training programs., • Follow the established clinic policies & procedures., • Maintain appropriate professional standards., • Fluency in conversational and written Spanish., • Principles, practices, and methods of community mental health treatment including interviewing, assessment, group counseling, and crisis intervention., • Applicable city, state, and federal guidelines and laws affecting mental health treatment, services, and reporting procedures., • Principles of psychological growth, development, and psychopathology., • Knowledge of community mental health resources., • Understanding the impact of culture on mental health practices., • Knowledge of principles and practices of group psychotherapy, with specific awareness of sex offense-specific issues., • Knowledge of various theoretical and treatment models pertaining to sex-offending behavior, including but not limited to CBT, the Good Lives Model, and Risk/Need/Responsivity Model., • Understanding the need to incorporate polygraph results into treatment, • Ability to facilitate the chaperone/safeguard process., • Knowledge of risk assessment measures and dynamic risk factors., • Understanding of the results/findings of psychosexual evaluations, how to address the findings with the probationers, and how to integrate results and recommendations., • Knowledge of behavioral techniques which assist with modifying probationers’ behaviors related to sex offending., • Evaluate the thoroughness and accuracy of progress notes and court reports., • Monitor participation and completion of professional development and training programs., • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client progress and court report submissions, measured by adherence to established procedures., • Collect and analyze client feedback to gauge satisfaction with the services provided., • Fluency in conversational and written English., • Bilingual in Spanish preferred., • The Clinician must be, in active status, a New York State LCSW, LMSW, LMHC or Ph.D. Psychologist with sex offender expertise., • The Clinician must be reliable and able to work independently and understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality., • Basic computer knowledge and the ability to document in an electronic health record is required., • Greater Mental Health does not provide malpractice insurance coverage for consultants. Consultants must obtain their own insurance and name the agency as an additional insured party., • Must maintain pre-employment clearances by applicable regulatory clearances as required., • The Clinician must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Responsibilities Client & Visitor Support: • Provide a welcoming and efficient point of contact for clientele, CBC personnel, and visitors., • Ensure the front desk is covered at all times., • Monitor practice voicemail, track issues, and resolve inquiries., • Open or close, and maintain the office., • Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks., • Provide basic AV/IT support and assist with in-person trainings., • Set up and coordinate refreshments for staff and large meetings., • Manage the setup of chairs, tables, AV equipment, and catering., • Handle client paperwork, including monitoring Jotform, creating/editing forms, uploading documents to charts, and managing closed chart processes., • Manage supply inventory, ordering, and distribution across three facilities., • Open packages and store supplies appropriately., • Coordinate with vendors to resolve equipment issues and track maintenance., • Ensure offices, conference rooms, reception areas, and restrooms are maintained and presentable., • Coordinate repairs, vendor interactions, and landlord communications., • Organize, coordinate and support CBC’s engagement and outreach events, including identifying volunteer opportunities and coordinating logistics., • Drive administrative workflows for assigned programs., • Coordinate program communications, ensuring effective dissemination of information., • Gather and communicate program needs to marketing and outreach teams., • Facilitate meetings by arranging schedules, creating agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items., • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for program staff and trainees., • Maintain and organize program documents, materials, and supplies., • Track and maintain program data., • Assist Program Directors and Coordinators with administrative tasks as needed., • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations., • Provide assistance with administrative tasks and special projects as needed. With or without reasonable accommodation, the Administrative Coordinator (AC) must possess and maintain the physical and mental capacity to perform the essential duties of the position, which may include: • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands and arms to reach, type, or handle office materials., • Occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, or lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds., • Clear vision to read documents and computer screens, hearing and speaking for effective communication in person and via telephone, and writing skills to document and process information accurately., • Effectively review, summarize, and communicate key information to support problem-solving and decision-making., • Address a range of operational and programmatic challenges by evaluating and implementing efficient solutions., • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare and administrative experience., • Excellent organizational and time management skills., • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail., • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom, and Apple, Canva platforms., • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with staff, vendors, patients, and professionals., • Initiative, follow-through, and a strong work ethic., • Proactive problem-solving approach with sound decision-making capabilities., • Highly resourceful team player with the ability to work independently., • Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback., • Demonstrates the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
