Job Description Aeroflow Health – PRN Respiratory Therapist Location: Jersey City, NJ and covering parts of New York The Opportunity Within Aeroflow Sleep, the Clinical Sleep team is comprised of 50+ clinical staff. The clinical team is the face of our company and focuses on outstanding patient care. Your Primary Responsibilities We are currently seeking a PRN respiratory therapist or registered nurse who will assist with telemedicine and in-home CPAP and BiPAP setups with patients and their families. This position will start as one 8 hour shift per week utilizing telehealth and in home services with the potential over time to transition into a 3 12 hour full time position depending on the territory's necessity. The pay rate will be hourly and include mileage. Job DescriptionDescription: Position Summary: The RT Vent Field Clinician is a Respiratory Therapist providing respiratory patient care to Vent patients for optimal outcomes. Provides respiratory care to patients in alternate sites in accordance with AdaptHealth’s policies and procedures. Respiratory care will be preventative, rehabilitative, and palliative in nature. The RT will utilize all the resources available within the agency and community to accomplish care objectives. This position will provide education and care to the patient and communicate with team, physicians and referral sources and other patient agencies ensuring prompt attention to patient care issues. Efforts aimed at improving asthma-related health outcomes and quality of life among children with asthma and their families/caregivers across New York’s highest asthma burden areas will be driven by the strategies outlined in the Center for Disease Control (CDC) National Asthma Control Program’s EXHALE Technical Package. This is a 100% grant-funded position serving the State of New York, focusing primarily Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Location: This position is located at the American Lung Association's New York, NY office and will be a hybrid of in-person and virtual work.
