Responsibilities • Assist in planning and executing daily age appropriate lesson plans for gym sports, literacy and arts/crafts, • Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and respectful behavior., • Engage children in activities that promote fitness, self confidence, friendship and social-emotional learning tailored to their developmental stages., • Work closely with the Director and Assistant Director to monitor individual progress, especially for children with special needs., • Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth., • Support classroom organization and cleanliness to create a safe and welcoming environment for all children., • Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred., • Knowledge of early childhood development principles, including literacy education, math concepts, and behavior management techniques., • Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with autism or other disabilities is a plus., • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents., • Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for toddlers or preschool-aged children., • Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory., • Demonstrated ability to manage classroom environments confidently while fostering a nurturing atmosphere.
