Job Summary This position will provide direct oversight for the Onsite Supportive Housing Services team to ensure quality service delivery and effective staff support. Job Duties/Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job. • Provide structured, responsive, and thorough supervision to the Onsite Supportive Housing Services team., • Provide calm leadership and clear direction in crisis situations following agency protocols and prioritizing the safety of staff, volunteers and participants., • Provide coaching and support to staff to ensure tenants of service delivery are being implemented across the Supportive Housing program., • Provide and seek regular feedback to / from staff to ensure the highest quality of service delivery. Ability to incorporate feedback in a thoughtful, reflective manner., • Assist in overseeing a systems approach to Onsite Supportive Housing Services programs in order to enhance performance measures across the department. In pursuit of constant improvement, regularly utilize program data and staff input to help create and modify program policies and procedures, as needed., • Provide direct oversight to the departments hiring and onboarding processes, to ensure timely and quality applicant screening, and sufficient support for new hires in the first three months of employment., • Assist in ensuring that programs are in compliance with all applicable contractual, licensing, staffing and safety mandatesensuring compliance with all HIPAA regulations., • Be able to expertly multi-task and oversee multiple projects and processes while still meeting work performance deadlines in a high-paced, open-door-policy environment., • Assist Program Coordinators with navigating performance management, coaching, and staff development., • Implement detailed self-directed tracking systems to ensure that all program compliance, communications and staff/program components are implemented with timeliness, attention to detail and responsive outcomes., • Assist in providing paid staff and volunteers with the training, supervision and support they need to carry out their responsibilities in a competent and professional manner., • Lead, supervise and mentor staff to ensure efficient and client centered operations., • Incorporate best practices into staff supervision., • Assist in the implementation of a systems approach to OSHS programs, including an outcome measure tracking component, and reporting mechanism., • Provide case management for clients when needed or requested from staff when they feel the situation escalates beyond their ability, or capacity., • Oversee fee for service reimbursement systems and HMIS requirements, where applicable., • Review timecard data and inform the Director in a timely manner of any emerging issues with timecard or data quality. In the Community: • Develop and sustain successful working relationships with community partners to enhance the effectiveness and scope of housing and service opportunities available to households., • Represent Onsite Supportive Housing Services and CC in the community to provide feedback to the local delivery system and assist with system change., • Serve as trusted and responsive designated liaison with identified community agencies and institutions that are collaborating in service delivery to target populations. Overall: • As a mandated reporter, follow all procedures outlined in agency policies and procedures to report to the proper agency when there is suspicion and/or confirmation that a child or adult has been a victim of abuse or neglect., • Uses appropriate administrative, fiscal, physical, and technical safeguards to ensure theconfidentiality,integrity, and security of CCEW client protected health information (PHI), per regulations outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)., • Will regularly utilize all forms of communication (email, text, phone, etc.) and database practice necessary for this position and as directed by your supervisor., • Adhere to the tenets of Catholic Social Teaching and Catholic Doctrine., • Perform related functions, including advocacy, to support the mission of Catholic Charities. Job Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have a bachelors degree in a related field, plus three (3) years experience in a leadership position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of community resources, experience in direct client services and case management. Experience working with issues of homelessness, poverty and violence against women and children preferred. Certificates/Licenses: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a valid Drivers License and ability to drive for work use. Successfully pass background check applicable to position.
