Job DescriptionRole Summary Our client, a healthcare organization, is seeking a Clinical Manager – Operating Room to oversee nursing operations and support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care. This role provides leadership to clinical staff, supports operational and quality initiatives, and collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery. The Clinical Manager is responsible for staff supervision, education, scheduling, and performance management while supporting departmental goals and organizational standards. Key Responsibilities * Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures. * Provide clinical leadership, staff education, consultation, and guidance related to evidence-based nursing practice. * Supervise nursing staff activities and support professional development and competency growth. * Partner with department leadership to address staff issues, support performance evaluations, and implement performance improvement initiatives. * Assist with operational functions including staffing schedules, resource planning, and monitoring departmental budget practices. * Support onboarding and orientation of new clinical staff members. * Communicate organizational updates, policy changes, and education needs to staff. * Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure alignment on patient care plans and clinical priorities. * Promote high standards of patient service, teamwork, and organizational performance improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. * Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related Allied Health field required; Master’s degree preferred. * Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. * Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience within the relevant specialty. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities. * Ability to utilize clinical applications and healthcare systems; training will be provided with expected proficiency within 30–60 days of hire. Specialty Requirements – Operating Room * 1–2 years of operating room experience required. * CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification required. Preferred Qualifications * National specialty certification in a relevant nursing field. * Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
