The Surgical APP Service at Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a hospital-based group that offers a supportive and team-based environment with exposure to multiple surgical subspecialties including but not limited to Urology and Gyn-Oncology. The surgical rounder will care for all surgical inpatients, perform consults, admissions, and discharges.This position currently does not require O.R. first assisting. * In-house shift to include management of surgical floor patients. Description Nuvance Health Department of Thoracic Surgery is seeking a board-certified part-time thoracic surgical physician assistant to join its group at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. This position is hospital focused with limited office exposure. -The qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be NCCPA certified as well as possess strong surgical and patient management experience. -Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, surgical first assisting, daily rounds, consults, admissions and discharges.
