Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Associate (Packing) Job Description The Warehouse Associate (Packing) plays a key role in the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, processing, and fulfillment of dental product orders. You will support warehouse operations by handling incoming shipments, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments using designated systems to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to quality and safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, physically active environment on a 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shift during a 4–5 month contract. Responsibilities • Accurately pack customer orders using appropriate materials such as boxes, envelopes, and pallets based on transfer orders or other documentation., • Process shipments using designated shipping systems, ensuring correct carrier selection, labeling, and required documentation., • Verify product and order details at each stage of the process (picking, packing, and shipping) to ensure accuracy and prevent errors., • Pick products from designated storage locations according to transfer orders when required., • Maintain performance in line with established KPIs and productivity and quality standards., • Follow training guidelines to stay current on warehouse processes, systems, and quality requirements., • Replenish inventory and packing supplies to support efficient order fulfillment and minimize delays., • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in alignment with 5S principles, including clear aisles, orderly workstations, and minimal clutter., • Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals, service levels, and customer expectations., • Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and required safety footwear., • Support overtime or extended hours as needed to meet operational demands and peak volumes., • Review transfer orders and assigned tasks at the start of the shift to plan daily workload., • Check order details for accuracy at each step and resolve discrepancies promptly., • Use warehouse management systems and tools, including WMS software and SAP, to process orders, shipments, and inventory movements., • Assist with general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, material handling, and inventory activities as needed., • Support shipping and receiving activities, including packaging, labeling, and staging outbound shipments., • Use material handling equipment, and where applicable forklifts, to move products safely and efficiently within the warehouse.Essential Skills, • High school diploma or equivalent preferred., • Ability to use basic computer systems, including logins, navigation, and simple applications., • Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on order accuracy and product quality., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically active warehouse environment for extended periods., • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis., • Willingness to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift., • Ability to wear required safety footwear for full shifts., • Team-oriented mindset with reliability, strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach., • Experience with packing, picking, order picking, and general warehouse labor., • Familiarity with material handling and loading activities., • Ability to work with warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform basic data entry., • Comfort working with shipping and receiving processes, including packaging and labeling.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Prior warehouse experience, especially in picking, packing, shipping, and material handling operations., • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems and WMS software usage., • Experience using RF scanners or handheld warehouse technology., • Understanding of inventory control, stock replenishment practices, and basic inventory counting., • Knowledge of shipping systems, carriers, and freight processes., • Exposure to Lean principles or 5S workplace organization practices., • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in high-volume environments., • Experience with forklift operations or other material handling equipment., • Comfort working in environments that support specialized products, such as dental materials and digital denture technology.Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a dedicated testing and repair facility within a clean, organized manufacturing and warehouse setting. You will work a 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. shift on a 4–5 month contract, with the possibility of overtime or extended hours when operational demands require it. The environment combines hands-on bench work, light logistics, and technical troubleshooting, supported by modern warehouse systems such as WMS and SAP. You will operate in a collaborative setting with direct training and close teamwork, following high safety standards and established 5S practices to maintain clear aisles, orderly workstations, and minimal clutter. The work involves standing, bending, moving throughout the facility, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, while wearing appropriate safety footwear and PPE as required.
