Job Description Requirements • RVIA certification is recommended but not required, • A successful Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and be well-versed in all maintenance and repairs, • Plumbing-Carpentry-HVAC-Electrical-Mechanical-RV Service, • A successful Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and be well-versed in all maintenance and repairs, • Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience, • Valid driver's license Responsibilities • Provide and document complete diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers, • Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance, • Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements, • Keep supervisor appraised of work progress, • Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by the supervisor or designee, • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending, • Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment, • Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness, • May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs, • Make 100 % productivity the goal and keep as close to that as possible, • Use factory specifications as the standard in all repair, service, and customization work, • Provide excellent customer service for all external and internal customers, specifically offering dependable vehicle service, • Receive service assignments from the service writer or service manager, • Have the repair work finished within the allotted time. Set goals, develop skills, and constantly increase efficiency skill level, • Submit your requested parts as soon as it is determined what is required for a particular job, • Keep the service writer or service manager informed of any additional work that may be required or of any delays to the estimated completion time as you make those determinations so the customer can receive up-to-date information, • Aid service writer as needed to write work orders, conduct test rides, interact with the customer, or in any other way you are able to guarantee customer satisfaction, • Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop neat and organized, • Make sure the proper paperwork is completed and filed after every job completion, • Keep your technical qualifications current by finishing any required training programs, • Take care that the vehicle is cleaner when the job is completed than when the customer dropped it off Salary is based on a structure that takes into account an individual’s experience. Your Impact The Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) in the PEARCE Renewables Solar Operations and Maintenance Division performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites near Pueblo, Colorado. The Solar Field Service Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants in accordance with established preventative and corrective maintenance standards while always maintaining safety and professionalism. These are local sites-candidates should reside within 50 miles of the Pueblo, Colorado areas. Core Responsibilities • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment., • Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to, work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules., • Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment., • Testing/troubleshooting installed solar equipment and ensuring proper working order., • Must have a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)., • Able work in a solo as well as a group environment. Core Experience • 2+ years' experience in Commercial/Industrial operations and maintenance (O&M) on solar power plants is preferred., • Preventative Maintenance experience on Solar Utility equipment is preferred., • Candidates should possess strong mechanical and electrical experience with troubleshooting and installation skills., • Specific solar experience with Inverters, Tracker Systems, or Sub-Stations Equipment (TMEIC/SMA/Sungrow/Nextracker/ATI, etc.) is preferred., • Takes initiative to escalate issues at site., • Ability to train, mentor, and develop laborers into Apprentices.
