Job DescriptionJob Title: Assembler Job Description We are seeking skilled Assemblers to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and assembling pipe, connectors, and basic components according to job specifications. This role involves cutting and grooving pipe, forming and pressing gaskets, and logging data into a computer to track progress, akin to assembling complex pieces similar to LEGO bricks, but with precise adherence to blueprints. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints to assemble pipe, connectors, and components per job specifications., • Cut and groove pipes to fit specified dimensions., • Form and press gaskets for use in assemblies., • Log data into computer systems to update progress and maintain records., • Use hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks., • Inspect assembled products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.Essential Skills, • 5+ years of assembly experience., • Proficient in mechanical knowledge and blueprint reading., • Experience with hand tools and power tools., • Knowledge of valve assembly and mechanical assembly processes., • Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in pipe joining, connectors, and related products., • High energy and motivation., • Experience with pipe grooving and cutting.Why Work Here? Work Environment Join a clean manufacturing environment that is non-climate controlled but equipped with large fans for comfort. The facility includes assembly, fabrication, and warehouse distribution areas, staffed by approximately 12 skilled shop employees. Standard attire includes steel-toed boots, jeans, work shirt, safety glasses, and a high visibility vest. Work hours are from 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and weekend work based on production needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Odessa, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
