The Designated Education Officer (DEO) is the designated VAMC employee who has oversight responsibility for all health professions training at the VAMC. The DEO receives guidance on Health Professions Education (HPE) program requirements from the VHA Office of Academic Affiliations (OAA). The DEO provides leadership, advice, and subject matter expertise in tasks, projects, and assignments related to HPE programs. Provides policy development, analysis, decision making, and implementation activities affecting the VA health care system. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Assurance Coordinator supports daily food safety and quality activities within the production facility. This entry-level role assists with QA documentation, routine checks, product testing, and GMP monitoring to ensure compliance with EFCO’s food safety and quality programs. This position works closely with the QA team, Production, Sanitation, and other departments to help maintain EFCO’s standards and certifications. The Director of Security (Physical) will lead work as part of the Facilities and Security Team to optimal and inclusive physical security risk management practices for the complex environments in which it operates. This position will provide support and leadership across a wide range of areas including crisis and incident response, asset protection, programmatic work, travel safety and event security. The successful candidate will understand the threat landscape facing PPGNY and its supporters, or similar constituencies, and have a proven track record of enabling work in challenging operational contexts.
