Job DescriptionJob Title: Inventory Clerk - 3rd Shift Job Description The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring materials, ingredients, and finished goods are properly accounted for during overnight operations. This role plays a key part in supporting production flow, minimizing downtime, and maintaining food safety and quality standards in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities • Perform nightly cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and document variances in the inventory management system., • Monitor movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between production, warehouse, and staging areas., • Record all inventory transactions accurately in ERP/WMS systems such as SAP or Oracle., • Conduct regular audits of storage locations to ensure compliance with FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and food safety standards., • Communicate inventory shortages, overages, or quality issues to supervisors and production teams promptly., • Ensure materials are labeled, stored, and handled in accordance with food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)., • Collaborate with forklift drivers and production operators to maintain efficient product flow., • Assist with end-of-month or quarterly physical inventories., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company policies.Essential Skills, • 1–2 years of inventory or warehouse experience in a manufacturing or similar environment preferred., • Experience with ERP systems and basic computer skills, including Excel and data entry., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on a night shift., • Understanding of food safety principles, GMP, and traceability., • Good communication and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Forklift certification or ability to obtain one preferred., • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods., • Work in refrigerated or ambient temperature environments as needed.Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment involves regular exposure to production noise and warehouse activity. Employees must adhere to GMP and SOP warehouse standards and wear safety work shoes with reinforced toes and slip resistance. Durable work pants and shirts that cover the shoulders are required. Long hair must be tied or banded, and no jewelry is permitted. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastvale, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
