Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring a full-time Facilities Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our Store Development team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to support over 40 Van Leeuwen locations. The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced in multi unit retail support, is organized, hands on and resourceful (and loves ice cream!). Our Facilities R+M Technician will report directly to the Director of Facilities. While we are based out of Brooklyn, NY, this role will cover the NY Metro area including New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. This is a full time, field based position requiring the flexibility to work off hours including weekends depending on operational needs and scheduled maintenance. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to continue growing Van Leeuwen scoop shops across 12 national markets. The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced in multi unit retail expansion, takes ownership of projects and is solution oriented (and loves ice cream!). Our Construction Project Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Store Development. While we are based out of Brooklyn, NY, this role has the opportunity to be hybrid or remote. This role will travel at least 50% of the time.
