Job Description SUMMARY: Origlio Beverage is a leading wholesale distributor of fine beer, cider, hard seltzer, and other progressive adult beverages. Shift: Monday-Friday PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION Employee performs routine manual work in assisting a truck driver in loading and unloading a truck and transferring materials from one point to another. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assists Driver by performing any combination of the following tasks:, • Loads and unloads vehicles by hand or by use of hand truck., • Pads, stacks, and secures items in position on truck to prevent damage during shipment., • Delivers and stacks merchandise on customer’s premises and collects payment or obtains receipt for goods., • Assist Driver with the proper use of the Keg System at all relevant stops (assuming the truck is outfitted with the system)., • Assist driver in parking the truck on an as need basis and directed by the driver., • ( Helper) Required to get out of the truck, visually ascertain how to instruct the driver and verbally (English) as well as using hand motions, assist the parking of the truck., • Occasionally work in breakage, assist in non-forklift related warehouse functions, • Warehouse/or facility clean up and organizing., • Maintain a clean and professional appearance., • Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people., • Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisor, employees, and co-workers., • Maintain professional customer service.
