We are seeking an experienced. dedicated and compassionate Nephrology Nurse Practitioner to join our nephrology practice in New Windsor, NY. This position offers a dynamic blend of outpatient clinic work and inpatient hospital responsibilities, as well as collaborating closely with our physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with kidney disease.. This role offers both clinical independence and strong support from a well-established, multi-specialty network that values teamwork, innovation, and balance. Key Responsibilities • Provide outpatient nephrology care at our New Windsor location, including evaluation and management of patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other renal conditions, • Perform inpatient nephrology consultations and hospital rounding at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital - Montefiore in Newburgh, NY, • Conduct daily dialysis rounding at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital - Montefiore in Newburgh, managing acute and chronic dialysis patients, • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including lab work and imaging studies, • Collaborate with nephrologists, dialysis staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, • Educate patients and families on kidney disease management, dietary modifications, and treatment options, • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Required: • Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license, • National certification (ANCC, AANP), Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in nursing, • Valid DEA license, • Minimum 2 years of nephrology experience required, • Experience with both outpatient and inpatient nephrology care, • Knowledge of dialysis management and procedures, • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Ability to build rapport with patients Job Types: Full-time, Part-time • 401(k), • 401(k) matching, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • Health insurance, • Life insurance, • Paid time off : 7 days sick/personal and 6 paid federal holidays, • Vacation package
