Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CVICU, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: ASAP, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating CVICU RN – Rotating AM/PM | 36 Hours Experience Requirements: \t • Minimum of two (2) years of CVICU RN experience required \t, • First-time travelers accepted with prior CVICU experience \t, • Local travelers accepted at a reduced local rate (contact AM for details) Assignment Details: \t, • Start Date: February 23, 2026, or ASAP \t, • Contract Length: 13 weeks \t, • Shift/Hours: 07:00–19:30 / 19:00–07:30 (rotating) Licensure & Certifications: \t, • Required: MD RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI \t, • Preferred: OCN, TCNN Scheduling Requirements: \t, • Weekends: Every third weekend required \t, • Holidays: Required as scheduled \t, • On-Call: 24–32 hours per rotating 8-week schedule \t, • Floating: Required to MSICU as needed Unit Information: \t, • Average Daily Census: 3–5 \t, • Beds on Unit: 6 \t, • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:2 Common Patient Diagnoses: \t, • Post-operative cardiac surgery (CABG, MVR, AVR) \t, • Cardiac surgery readmissions / ICU bounce-backs \t, • Structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip) \t, • Pre-op patients on hospital intensivist list \t, • STEMI / NSTEMI \t, • Cardiogenic shock \t, • Inari procedures Special Procedures / Unit Capabilities: \t, • First 6 hours post-op care involving:\t \t\t, • Two or more inotropic medications \t\t, • Hemodynamic instability and active cardiac output management \t\t, • Extreme coagulopathy or open chest cases \t\t, • OHS / Impella \t\t, • ECMO (perfusionist on-site) \t\t, • CRRT (dialysis on-site) \t\t, • IABP \t\t Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
