About the Role The Customer Analytics Engineering Lead will report to the Associate Director of CD Analytics and Insights and will be responsible for the next generation of data capabilities and the data foundation, ensuring the US Customer Development function has the appropriate data, analytics, and tools necessary to achieve its sales ambitions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and architect a scalable data analytics platform and lead a dynamic data analytics team responsible for advancing selling capabilities across sales, category management, shopper marketing, and channel strategy. This is a hands-on technical role with strong business integration. The ideal candidate not only has deep data engineering expertise but also thrives on working directly with commercial and customer development stakeholders to co-design data solutions that integrate seamlessly into business processes. Key Responsibilities • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into well-designed and executed technology products embedded into daily decision-making, with a focus on promotion optimization, syndicated and retailer data, demand forecasting, shopper marketing, digital commerce, and sales reporting., • Design and implement a modern data lake environment to support scalable ingestion, transformation, and storage of retailer, syndicated, and internal commercial data., • Establish the semantic layer and data modeling framework, defining consistent business logic and unified data definitions that enable self-service analytics and integration across data products., • Build and operationalize advanced analytic models, including demand forecasting, promotion performance, assortment optimization, and shopper behavior modeling., • Liaise with local and global business and technology teams to define, manage, and enhance Customer Development analytics capabilities., • Maintain pulse on market for new third-party data and tool offerings., • 8+ years of experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Databricks, with strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark, Python, and DAX for building high-performance data transformations and pipelines., • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake, Power BI, DBT, and Alteryx., • Strong understanding of data engineering principles, data modeling, and semantic layer design to support analytics and reporting use cases., • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale, end-to-end data products for a business-focused audience., • Experience applying data science, machine learning, and AI to business problems in Consumer Goods organizations., • Experience with retailer and syndicated data sources such as Circana, Nielsen, and panel data., • Ability to collect business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, communicating findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders., • Experience working in a consumer goods organization., • Technical aptitude and ability to lead teams toward business-value focused technology solutions., • Excellent planning, organization, and project estimation skills., • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams both locally and globally., • Experience in a consumer goods Customer Development function., • Experience with retailer data platforms such as Scintilla, SymphonyAI, 1010data, and 84.51 Stratum., • Familiarity with Digital Commerce and Shopper Marketing data solutions., • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance: Comprehensive coverage to support your overall well-being., • Employer Contributions to Health Savings Accounts (HSA): For employees enrolled in High Deductible Health Plans, Concord contributes toward your HSA., • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Options for healthcare and dependent care expenses, plus a Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) for wellness and personal development., • Disability Insurance: Short-term (up to 12 weeks) and long-term coverage, fully paid by the employer., • Life and AD&D Insurance: Employer-provided coverage with options for additional voluntary coverage., • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Support for legal, financial, and personal challenges., • 401(k) Retirement Savings: 1% employer match., • Career Growth Opportunities: Pathways for advancement and skill development., • Employment type: Contract-to-hire., • Compensation: $115,000 - $170,000., • Work Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
