The result is a bespoke automotive experience defined by luxury and attention to detail. • On-site work location: Genesis House, • Compensation: $125,000 to $150,000 annually The AV Tech Producer is a hands-on, dynamic role that supports both the Jackson Dawson Team and Genesis clients. This position is responsible for managing the venue’s technical infrastructure, coordinating with vendors and technical partners, troubleshooting issues, and working with a variety of tools to troubleshoot and repair audio-visual equipment, content platforms, and specialized software. Serving as the main point of support for all on-site technology, media equipment, and event production, the AV Tech Producer ensures seamless daily operations while helping to deliver world-class events. Responsibilities range from audio and lighting control to LED visual support, scenic strategies, vendor collaboration, content management, and client services. This role also involves live meeting support, ongoing operation of audio-visual facilities, and resolving technical challenges. Success requires working effectively with cross-functional teams, external suppliers, and talent to deliver flawless events and technology experiences. Flexibility is essential, as the position requires 2,000–2,800 hours per year, with evenings and weekends expected to support events and venue needs. Occasional opening and closing responsibilities at Genesis House and Genesis Studio are also required. Reporting directly to the Jackson Dawson Senior Executive Producer, this role collaborates closely with the General Manager, Events Producer, Operations Producer, and Genesis House management teams. Responsibilities • Partner with building management and outside vendors to address facility maintenance, ensuring issues are communicated and resolved promptly., • Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations., • Support the Operations Producer by overseeing equipment and facility maintenance., • Manage audio-visual equipment upkeep, including software updates, LED screen cleaning, and related technical care., • Oversee lighting and audio systems throughout Genesis House., • Operate and monitor all AV equipment during events to ensure smooth execution., • Quickly diagnose and resolve by self-performing any technical problems that arise during an event or day to day operations., • Responsible to support Event Producer and team for the full life cycle of and event from planning, estimate development, setup, execution and maintenance., • Remain available for after-hours urgent calls., • Manage, catalog, and archive video content., • Provide technical support for small and large-scale events., • Participate in team and client meetings as needed., • Oversee deliverables within budget and scope., • Support event logistics and execution with attention to detail., • Maintain a strong understanding of program scope to meet or exceed client expectations., • Consistently represent Genesis House with professionalism and leadership., • Establish regular checkpoints with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment., • Perform additional duties as required., • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience., • 5+ years of project and event management experience., • Familiarity with HVAC BMS systems and controls; experience with HVAC or mechanical systems preferred., • Strong knowledge of backup power systems, lighting, and sound systems., • Creative, resourceful, and effective in a collaborative team environment., • Passion for high-caliber events, VIP client service, and luxury hospitality., • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines., • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for events and repairs., • Floor presence at Genesis House as required., • Ability to supervise vendors and collaborate with event specialists., • Calm, results-driven mindset in high-pressure situations., • Frequent standing, movement within the facility, and positioning of equipment., • Ability to safely lift or carry up to 50 pounds., • Ability to climb stairs and perform movements such as bending, stooping, or kneeling as needed., • Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
