You'll play a hands-on role in maintaining service standards, supporting your team, and ensuring guest satisfaction. What You’ll Be Doing Each Day • Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants may include taking supplies directly to room attendants., • Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash., • Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors., • Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers., • Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by Housekeeping Houseperson., • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis., • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example., • A hands-on, team-first attitude and the ability to jump in when needed., • Professional appearance and conduct., • Ability to lift to 100 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods., • Comfortable using cleaning products and working in a fast-paced environment. For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $22.59 per hour; for applicants who will be working in New York, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $22.59 per hour.
