Job Description Passion for Life is seeking a Program Evaluator Intern to contribute methodology, evaluation plans, and data analysis skills to the development team. As a member of the research & evaluation team, you will be responsible for designing the measurement of the impact and behavioral changes in students that participate in Passion for Life, Inc. Responsibilities • Assist in designing specific data collection instruments to evaluate program participants, programs such as pre/post-tests surveys, assessments, interview guides, and focus group protocols., • Develop and review surveys, forms, and other data collection activities to ensure content and format is appropriate to promote clarity and responsiveness., • Conduct evaluation activities developed by the operations team, including the development of effective data collection, monitoring, and reporting systems., • Use quantitative and qualitative methods to develop and execute evaluation projects., • Identify program needs based on data collected and analyzed., • Ensuring that all changes in programs are well documented., • Work closely with the research and evaluation team to provide outcome reporting for proposal writing and author text for evaluation plans., • Design research presentations and reports for key stakeholders., • Adequate experience using quantitative and qualitative research techniques, • Detail-oriented with strong editing and proofreading skills, • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc)., • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; attention to detail is required., • Experience with using and translating data to communicate program successes and impact, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment, • Highly organized and able to manage multiple ongoing projects, • Ability to work under strict deadlinesQualifications Education Requirement • Must be currently pursuing a degree in Business Management, Nonprofit Management, Research/Research development, Sociology, Psychology or related field, • Must be classified as a Junior or Senior, • Experience as a research assistant, a plus Additional Information Time Commitment: 5-10 hours per week.
