In this role you will be assisting with the preparation, seasoning and cooking of meals for residents who choose to all 305WEA home, as well as employees — and all as directed by the Director of Food Service or the Sous Chef. REQUIRES SUNDAYS Additional responsibilities include: • Helping to prepare food for the next meal service, which includes chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients according to established recipes, • Ensuring all procedures are conducted following required health department and company regulations, • Checking all food temperatures prior to meal service, • Garnishing all plates after they leave the kitchen area, • Experience working in a restaurant, catering facility, hospital, hospitality, healthcare or similar food services related industry as a plus, • Must be able to excel in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to understand the English language and follow instructions with minimal supervision, • Proven ability to follow all rules, regulations, policies and sanitary standards established by management
