Job DescriptionJob Title: HVAC Assembler Job Description The HVAC Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing fluid-flow equipment in accordance with engineering and customer specifications while consistently maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. This role involves working with mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, using technical drawings and tools to build complex equipment used in commercial and industrial applications. Responsibilities • Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment according to detailed engineering specifications and customer requirements., • Interpret and use blueprints, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and assembly instructions to complete builds accurately., • Perform functional testing and quality checks on completed units to verify compliance with engineering and customer standards., • Diagnose and report equipment issues, defects, or non-conforming components to ensure timely resolution., • Use measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively during assembly and testing activities., • Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment., • Handle and position piping, components, and assemblies to support HVAC, pumping, plumbing, or fire protection systems., • Collaborate with team members and support personnel to meet production schedules and continuous improvement goals., • Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe condition.Essential Skills, • Experience in at least one of the following areas: pipefitting, welding, electrical work, or conduit work., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings., • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools., • Familiarity with HVAC, pumping, plumbing, or fire protection systems., • Basic computer skills for accessing documentation and recording information., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods throughout the shift., • Capability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment., • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Industrial manufacturing or assembly experience., • Knowledge of HVAC, pumping, plumbing, or fire protection systems in an industrial or commercial setting., • Electrical troubleshooting experience in a production or equipment environment., • Experience with lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement., • Background in construction, installation, or industrial assembly work., • Proficiency in piping layout and pipe fitting for complex assemblies., • Experience with welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in an industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment where advanced HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and fluid-flow systems are produced for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and data centers. You will work in a non-climate-controlled facility where temperatures vary with seasonal conditions and will regularly be around mechanical assembly equipment, pumps, motors, piping systems, and production machinery. The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift, including regularly lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds, with team assistance for heavier items. You will use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment on a daily basis. Personal protective equipment is required, including safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, hearing protection, and other PPE as needed to maintain a safe and compliant workplace. The standard shift is a first shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Niagara Falls, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
