Job DescriptionSalary: $90k - $105k Project Engineer The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring administrative, contractual, financial and technical aspects of the assigned project(s) being executed. Project Engineer will be reporting to the Project Manager and/or Superintendent. Job Responsibilities includes (but may not be limited to): * Assists Project Manager and Superintendent in the management of construction projects, which involves document control, project schedule and safety. * Assist the project team by identifying and developing RFIs that clearly communicate field issues with the design team and distributing responses to the field for implementation. * Develop and organize a submittal schedule for the project. * Review project specific submittals for compliance with the contract documents and process them for review by the design team. * Develop a project specific procurement schedule for all materials and equipment associated with the assigned project. * Organize a project specific drawing log to track changes to the contract documents. * Distribute updates to all project documents including drawings and sketches. * Document field conditions through use of camera or applicable technology platform. * Develop understanding of field coordination by interfacing with subcontractors, field personnel, Project Manger and Superintendent. * Develop and organize project closeout documents in accordance with project specific requirements. * Analyze changes to contract documents, i.e. Owner Change Order Requests (CORs), Subcontractor Change Orders (SCOs). * Work with Project Manager to perform a thorough and objective bid analysis using all applicable components. * Prepare subcontractor Schedule of Values and monthly owner billings with Project Manager and Project Superintendent. * Other duties upon request. Qualifications: • 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction industry. Bachelors degree in Construction Management of Engineering or related field. * Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management software (Viewpoint or similar) and Scheduling software (Primavera or similar). * Apply a complete and proficient understanding of construction management, engineering, safety, scheduling, estimating, budgets, costing and procurement. * Analyzing and interpreting data. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Multi-tasking in a fast paced environment. * Strong leadership, detail oriented, problem solving, initiative and teamwork. * Proven ability to fulfill project development to project closeout responsibilities Working Conditions: * Duties required physical abilities such as repetitive hand/finger motions, arm extensions, sitting, standing, and walking jobsites that include uneven and changing site conditions. Job Description Must Have: • 8+ years SAP experience in FI/CO minimum, including 2 - 3 full project life cycle implementations and enhancements / continuous improvement projects; relevant areas include profit centers & hierarchy configuration & maintenance, Tax configuration, financial operations processes and concepts, currency revaluation & translation, document splitting, non-leading ledger, substitutions / validations, functional area usage, financial close and consolidations, intercompany processing, account determination, internal order settlement, US and/or regional requirements., • ECC 6.0 experience in Accounts Payable configuration. AP configuration experience should include Vendor Master setup, Invoicing, Payments and Electronic Bank Statement. Integration experience with GL. Working experience with Banks., • Experience in ECC 6.0 Fixed Assets Configuration and associated sub module integration. Understand Fixed Assets accounting processes and FA-GL integration. Expert in Month End/Year End FA close tasks, • Solid hands on experience with ECC 6.0 configuration in New GL and associated submodule integration, • Experience and knowledge in Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting, • Experience promoting changes to Production and associated methodology, including writing functional spec and writing /executing test plans, • Analytical team player, able to learn quickly, can prioritize and multi-task, • Strong English verbal and written skills, • Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure, • Self-starter and proactive, including managing deliverables, able to work independently, understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance Strongly Preferred: • Experience with functional setup of MDG and/or BlackLine Systems, • Treasury Management experience with Kyriba/FIS and/or SAP Treasury module, • Working knowledge and experience of Business Intelligence, validating and testing of BI/BO Reports, • Experience with Taxware, • Proficient with MS Tools - MS Excel, MS Word, etc...
